The BTS was selected as the best pop album by 2018 and 'Best song 50' by American music journal 'Rolling Stone'.
On the 14th (local time) at Rolling Stone's year-end closing, the bulletproof boy band's 3rd album 'Love You Self Trial' won the 'Best Pop Album 20' 13th place.
The album, which was released in May, topped the billboard's main album chart 'Billboard 200' for the first time in K-Pop. "Rolling Stone has made a new territory by breaking the existing model of K-Pop."
Rolling Stone also ranked 38th on the album's title track, "Fake Love," among the "Best 50 Songs." It is the 10th place on the billboard main single chart 'Hot 100', and it was the highest score of the Korea group. Recently, the number of music video views on YouTube has surpassed 400 million views.
Rolling Stone commented on Fake Love that "most of the lyrics are in Korean, but I have set a record for the K-pop group through the language barriers of the American pop market."
Meanwhile, Rolling Stone selected Camilla, an album by Camilla Cavey (21) from the American girl group 'Piff Harmony' as the best pop album of the year. The album 's song' Habana 'was unusually high on the domestic music site. Canadian R & B singer Drake (22) has selected 'My Phillips' as the best song of the year.
